LCd gauges not reading

Friend has 200 HPDI's and his gauges (fuel, oil level, rpm ect) dont show anything sometimes. Sometimes only certain bars show up. One works on doesn't, sometimes. Are the gauges just worn out? Should he change to analog gauges ? Any thoughts? Any good sources here for new/used yammi gauges.

Sounds like bad connections or grounds.

Thought of that, but why would the gauges show some bars sometimes and other bars at other times? For instance, sometimes it will show oil level perfect then not, then the fuel gauge bars would only show top bars not all the way up.

Sounds to me like your gauges are going bad. Happened with mine as they were dim. Checked out wiring and voltage and everything was fine. Looking for new gauges.
