Since George W. Bush has become our President our lives and our country has improved in many ways including:

1. You fill in the answers. Seriously NO negative comments, I really would like to see what people have to say.

You can't just troll and demand your own disclaimers.Your intentions are negative. Why should anyones response be a positive one?Because you said so?Like Boomyal suggested.Get a life.

Re: Let us try it this way!

Let me help you there Ob and Boomyal,

Pointer has shown a couple of good points on another thread:

1. Low Inflation rates

2. Housing starts up

3. Interest rates low and controlled.

Now maybe the two of you can cut the cr...p and think a little.

Housing starts WAY up here in Florida.

Personal portfolio value (BIESH) has increased by around 60%.

He is unwavering in his approach to terrorism, and he is proactively taking the fight to them,as oposed to reacting to the effects of their would-be attacks here.

I am paying zero percent interest for my truck.
If he can be blamed for New Orleans response blunders by your ilk, he can take credit for this and my portfolio by me and my ilk.

There is much i am angry about regarding Bush, but that is for your next troll-thread ("What has bush done wrong?").

Re: Let us try it this way!

This is inspired by another thread (the "show yer house thread);

This aerial photo was taken some time durring the the threat or afternmath of Hurricane Wilma last November.

There are no newer pics available, so I'll have to update some other way...But in the meantime, i placed an "X" over lots with either a new house on them, or under construction.
There are other lots (the two southern most where my boat is, both sides of road) with stakes from surveys.
There are others not "X"'d, but not sure which ones.

Paid 42K for my home in 1984. Was offered 135K for it last month, and it is not on the market.
I'dd say the housing bubble must burst soon.It simply cannot continue this upward spiral. But hey, what a ride!

.

Re: Let us try it this way!

All you bush-backers are so caught up in your hatred of anyone or anything that attempts to diminish your inflated image of bush that you can't shift out of attack mode. TX's last thread I took as a troll but it still had some good responses. I agree that TX does have some troll characteristics to his threads (sorry TX, I agree with you most of the time, but hey it is true). But this one is asking yo for your information. TX and I obviously don't troll your right-wing info sources. So since we rely on the "liberal media" and more mainstream news sources we can't know what your news sources report as news. So since we apparently are only getting the negative slant on the issues, and TX wants to be fair and objective, he is asking you for your input.

Just as the flamingly liberal news sources make me want ot puke, I can't subject myself to the likes of that pompous blow-hard rush, or other radical right-wing news sources. So I too am interested in what bush has done good FORthis country. So I ask too, get over yourselves and your hatred for anyone or oanything that doesn't blindly follow the idiot-in-chief. instead, try to enlighten the rest of us with facts, not opinion and insults.

Because Tx's and my minds want to know...

Re: Let us try it this way!

I think you should just look at it from others perspective. We don't live in homage to our president like some mind numb automatons. We also are not looking to assign blame for things that are clearly out of the presidents realm of control. Like say AT&T reaquiring its spun off subdivisions, or oil prices, or hurricanes, or terrorists, or misinformation/misinterpretation or lack of understanding regarding the war, or theories about man creating a warming of the planet or myriad other examples. We are not ashamed of our countries involvements or calling the UN the liars they are. We are not interested in playing second fiddle to second rate socialistic has been countries like France. We don't think that reverse racism is anything but racism. We support our troops with our voices and actions regardless of how we feel about the war. We are not ashamed of the difference between men and women, in fact we relish it. We don't assign to the government our success's. We expect them to stay out of the way. We don't expect a limited government to be involved in redistribution of wealth. We don't expect the police to protect and serve but to enforce the law. We statistically are happier and enjoy better love lives. We believe in a days work for a days pay, and we expect the promises made to be promises kept. We think that the courts are there to enforce the laws not create social policy. We believe that less government is better but no government is anarchy. We think most things are better run by private interests than by government beaurorocacies. We think that reading, writing and arithmatic is what the school system is to teach. We are not afraid to be unpopular. We think all life is precious, unless forfeited. We think actions speak louder than words, and we eat our own when they fail to meet our expectations (Duke Cunningham, Nixon). We think that Americans can conquer any task or obsticle if we put our minds to it. We are free thinking members of the American team, not a bunch of individualistic free thinkers with over inflated opinions of our intellect's(Ward Churchill). It isn't always about being right but doing right. We reserve the right to be wrong. We finish what we start. We can be counted on. We share with everyone in many ways be that financial or with time or with the benefit of experience. We pay taxes and we care about our families, friends and neighbors, be them local, state, national or international.

We are all Americans. We are at war. We live in the greatest country in the world. We will overcome and win. Millions are counting on us. We are not the enemy, we are you.

Re: Let us try it this way!

GWB is President number eleven for me. Some are good and some are bad, but none are good or bad all the time. Won't be all that long and we'll have a new one to second guess, so hang on. Me? I'm about even, but older. My peanuts are stale but my beer isn't :D So....more beer and fresh woman for my men bar-keep and don't worry about the expense.
