Oh by the way I am a card carrying republican for those who point me to the D. All my locals now run on the R so I have to vote in primary to have a voice. They are all no different than the old southern conservative democrats with a new wrapper.

It is interesting, and rather telling, that simply implying that conservatives are blindly following God insures derision from many liberals . . .

Ka and Ron, Do you have no idea of good that has come out of this administration. Proposed the “No Child Left Behind” Act. <br />Persuaded Libya to discontinue its weapons programs. <br />Strengthened national security by signing the Patriot Act and creating the Office of Homeland Security. <br />And the present administration has a lot more people in the US paying attention to politics than before....<br />That last one could be taken either way

To add to the above:<br /><br />Tried to do SOMETHING with SS. It needs an overhaul,but nobody wants to do anything.<br /><br />Has done more in 3rd world countries than you can imagine (at least in my African countries) because it has made the governments perform for their handouts instead of just throwing more money after corruption (in other words, has been teaching them TO fish instead of BUYING them fish).<br /><br />Stock market the highest it has been in 6 years - although no president can really take credit for the boom or bust of the economy, they can lay the groundwork for the economy to grow freely.<br /><br />Tax cuts for the rich - man I love that, I guess because I felt the tax cut, I must be rich! (see above).<br /><br />Inflation held in check.
