Wonder whats going to happen at DEI with Jr and his contract.

Wouldnt it be too cool to see a red on the front/fade to black on the rear #3 on the track with Budwieser on the hood and GM Goodwrench on the rear quarter panel in '08 ! ! !

Since Goodwrench left Harvick it'd be possible....and you know Budwieser would stay with Jr if he left DEI.

I would love to see him team up with Childress. I think that little is stopping him. You know RCR would love to have him, and I cannot think of many reasons why Jr would not love to be there as well. Sooner or later, we will see a black 3 car back in the cup series. It will never be the same, but you could never get any closer than the original as you could with Jr.

Senior remained with RCR even though he had his own 3 car team. I believe there is as much Earnhardt blood with RCR as there is with DEI. Well, maybe not true "blood," but you know what I mean.

How fitting would it be for Jr to win his first championship in a black 3 car racing for RCR?

One day....what a day it will be!

If Teresa doesnt give Jr some form of ownership or ownership of his team I think you'll see Jr say adios to DEI and either start his own cup operation or go to RCR. Childress has already said he'd take him in a heart beat AND nobody would run the #3 unless there was an Earnhardt driving it. If Jr chooses to leave DEI I feel pretty sure that Budwieser will go with him. It'd be win X 3 for Childress...he'd Jr, Jr's fans and a Budwieser sponsorship deal.

Hell, when Waltrip left he took NAPA with him and he wasn't winning squat at DEI when he left. Jarret left Yates UPS went with him to Waltrip racing.

Oh I think Jr. and Childress would be wonderful, I just don't think Theresa will let him go and I am sure he eventually will want the helm. I think they'll work it out, may even see more from Kerry . . .

I'd love to see Kerry have more of a presence in the sport.....he the spitting image of his daddy and a nice guy to boot. Met him at Talladega once....he was the nicest guy. From his actions and his demeanor you'd never have known he was a celebrety and Dale Earnhardt's son.

Yep,Its almost time! Our shop is been gearing up all winter. I got to run a few hot laps at Charlotte yesterday...testing a clutch and trans..it was a blast though.8)
