Leveling additive ?

I read on this forum about sanding additives for the last coat of gel coat, what
I would like to know is there a leveling additive that can be used when gel coat
is brushed on.

Whats the application ? Hull ? Fordeck ? cockpit ?..

For brushing I would say no..not really anything I know of..

There is a trick if your doing a flat fordeck..

This is for the hull of my 16 ft. Orlando.I have not decided on paint or gel coat,
I know gel is more work, I dont mind that, I'am just not sure it will turn out right.

They say Dura-tech will help to self level, Mine didnt. I have only sprayed one seat. Yd,Ondarvr, or Opps might be abel to explain why not to use it.

There is no additive for Brush on gel that I know of...

You have to spray..wetsand and polish for top application of gelcoat..

Still very much less expensive and time consuming then paint IMO.. You just have to know how to do it..
