I saw that on craigslist the other day. I was tempted.... . I have a 211, bought it about 2 months ago because it was such a good deal. Probobly in a year or two go up to the 241. I don't want twins though so that limits the availablity. I think a 241 with a 383 stroker would be a nice combination.

i would pick that boat up in a heart beat, only problem is getting it to ct :-(. i do not want to get a twin either. just another thing that can go wrong lol. i would be happy with any of the three (201,211, or 241). did you use the boat at all before the season ended?

I was lucky enough to use it twice before having to put it away for winterization. It was awesome. I am very happy with it, and can't wait to re-do the deck, seat, and head out on the CT river next year. Where do you boat?

i grew up on long island sound and the housatonic river. im pretty excited to get my boat and get it ready for next season. i too plan on redoing the seats/rear bench, the deck, and the cuddy area. ill be spending my weekends over night on the boat when its nice out over in port jeff. my best friend is getting another boat too so we plan on having a blast next summer.

[/ATTACH][/ATTACH][/ATTACH]starting to get her put back together...fabricated a stainless steel stand for the trim pump...no more mild steel...i m gonna use all plastic, stainless and aluminum for all mounts and brackets...no more rust for the liberator lol

Looks great!, Keep the pictures coming. I forgot to take some pictures last weekend when I was winterizing.

Question: I had a drain plug on the Port side of the block, but could not find one on the starboard side of the block. The port side one, as well as the exhaust manifold drain plug, were both blue and could be removed without any tools. They were twist out...

On the Starboard side, in the same place as where the port side one was, was something that had wires coming out of it. Almost like a temperature sensor. Have you guys seen this? I wasn't sure if I was supposed to remove that or not. I ended up pouring non-diluted anti-freeze into the hose that connects the water pump with the thermostat housing. I kept the water pump side connected and continued pouring until anti-freeze came out the thermostat housing. Think I need to do it again, and pull that other plug, with the devices with wires connected to it?

not sure yet 99 my motor is in the middle of garage waiting for rebuild ... i can look at it tommorrow to c what drains have wires on them. i need to brush up on my winterizing also.guess u can never b too safe

thank you sir i am very proud of her...can't wait to put the motor back in but will have to wait till spring...i hope the acoustics aren't too loud...i can only imagine it being like the difference between an empty room (loud and echo)and a furnished, carpeted room soft and quiet...i guess we will find out and i will keep u posted... does anyone else run a motor with no carpet in the back to dampen noise...mayb i can put in some snap in carpet and still b able to remove it to clean it out...we will c...thanks again

How hard was it to pull your engine? What process did you use? I am thinking about pulling mine so I can clean it up, and go over everything this winter.

pulling the motor was very easy it unplugs like a vacuum cleaner...lol...the hard part was lifting it up high enough to clear my engine lift would not work and had to use the bucket on my backhoe...all seriousness u could prob pull the motor in 1/2 hour including removing the outdrive...6 bolts holdin it down,power stearing hoses,disconnect the battery,remove the shifter cables,label any xtra wires and hoses and out she goes

Awesome job, do you have any other pictures of your process start to finish? I have been contemplating removing my engine just to basically clean up the bilge area like you did, but the engine is in fine working order, so I don't "REALLY" need to pull it. I have an 211 that has an 97 350 in it. I belive the previous owner repowered it. I bought it at the end of last season, so I have only been out in it twice. Cant wait for May....
