I will need to hoist my 90Hp Johnson.
What is the best way to lift one of these ?(I looked around on the forum and they said around the flywheel but with me there is a complete cover over)
I have an engine lift and was looking around where I can hook something on and on the 2 cilinder walls on top there seem to be holes where you can put a strap thru. Is this safe to hoist the engine at these points ?

Thanks

Re: Lifting engine question

If you have a newer Johnson there are 2 cast in eyes on the block. One just above the starboard head and the other just above the port carbs.Use a chain to latch the 2 and lift.
