Linkage adjustment

1976 75hp Johnson. Can't get the throttle cable adjustment right. If I set the cam roller on the start marks I only get about 3/4 throttle but a great idle. If it set it where I can actually get full throttle out of it then it can't be set back to the idle. Have the power pilot control box.
Thinking of putting on the 2 handle shift box, one for throttle and one for transmission so I can have a longer travel for the throttle. As always, any help is appreciated.

Don't take this as a fact, I'm sure somebody with more knowledge will come along but you may need a different control box due to different lengths of travel on the linkages! Is it a Johnson remote ?

yep power pilot. I have the other type that I will probably install.
