recently purchased lms 332c. in running the cables to the unit i find that the extension cable is not the 25' y-adapter cable but a single cable. the length is good enough, but the end does not mate up at the unit (female to female).
the y-adapter is supposed to have a 60ohm terminator for use with direct connection (which is the way i'm doing it). in a seperat bag in the box thereis a plastic T with a 60ohm terminator (not attached). can i attach the terminator to the T, and use this piece to complete the cable setup? using this method will allow me to connect the cable.to the unit.thanx in advance....Bill
.

Re: lms332c gps module installation

I just hooked up my LMS-480. I think they should have similar cable connections. Mine came with the LGC-2000 25' extension cable with a 60-ohm terminator. The female connector from the 25' cable hooked into the GPS antenna module cable. It didn't come with the T-connector for adding into a NMEA 2000 buss. That was sold separately. My manual had a leaflet addendum added to it to correct a misprint in their wiring schimatic illustration in the manual that shows some of the wiring in reverse. Don't know if this helps. You may want to check out Lowrance's web site. They have online schematics on how to hook up the T-connectors into alternative configurations. Good Luck.
