Locating water pump kit

Having cooling problems like those described by others. Suggestion was made to someone to replace the entire water pump rather than just the impeller alone. Having trouble locating a waterpump kit on this site or finding other sites that may have one. Any suggestions or directions? Motor-1971 70hp crysler outboard <br /><br />Thanks

The kit is about $53.00. It came with a new housing, impeller, new bolts and gasket, along with the instructions. A good contact for Force parts is a guy named Walter at Marine Parts Finders, Inc. You can download a<br />complete break down of your motor,parts and<br />assembly, and individual parts and prices.<br />I just printed out all the parts and prices<br />for my 96 75hp Force, even found a form for <br />water pump installs.
