Hi folks, I am Rick from northern MN. I usually hang out in the mercruiser forum but today I have an O.B. question. I have a 2000 Lund tyee with a 175 ficht and a 15 h.p. 4 stroke kicker. Last year I used it very little and this year not at all due to building a cabin and having the I.O. in the water for what little boating I did do this summer. Now it is time to put the summer toys away for the long cold winter. The last time gas was put in the Tyee was maybe July of 2012. I did add a can of sea foam to the tank last fall. I never even put the boat in the water this year (and to think it used to be my pride and joy). So what should I do to prepare it for winter storage? Been running prem non oxy fuel. I was thinking of maybe another can of sea foam and put her in the water and run each engine for 10 minutes or so? Any educated suggestions would be welcome. Thanks in advance.
