86 rinker with a 120 mercruiser engine .Boat runs well . Doesn't stall. After long runs of yanking a skier or tube and shutting down, it takes a little longer to start. Always does, but jjst takes longer. When I first put in the lake, it starts with a touch of the ignition. Just curious what I could do to help this out . Probably something I should know already, but I don't . Thanks in advance .😁

since this happens all the time with pulling a tube, try letting the motor idle for a minute prior to shutting off.

if that works, then most likely its the fuel system.

could be fuel vaporizing in the carb.

What do you do with the throttle when this occurs? If you are just cranking with no throttle you might try opening it to 1/3 in throttle-only mode and see if it acts any different.

When it's hard to start, and finally does, it wants to idle low. I throttle it up just a bit and it runs like normal, even when I put it back in neutral . It runs fine after that .
