RUN AWAY. Volvo only used the Ford engine for 2 years back then. There are no parts for them. The manifolds and risers aren't available, even in aftermarket. If you can find away around the manifolds, then there isn't a problem at all with it. But nothing is made to match up with the Y pipe.

There is no problem with the outdrive, it's almost bullet proof. And the Ford engines run fine. Even the raw water pumps can be replaced without a problem. It's all about the exhaust manifold and risers.

Thanks, don't think it would be that hard to match up an aftermarket manifold and riser to the int housing? A couple years ago, we got aftermarket manifolds and risers for our ford 302 and omc stringer?? Couldn't' I use those manifolds and risers, and fab up some adapters? That's what we did for our setup now.
