Buying a "new" car is a total rip-off. Buying one that is one
or two years old with low mileage you save thousands and
still get that new car smell . :)

Maybe some of us don't really care? I like them brand new and I can afford it. Like I said, if wasn't for people like me... you wouldn't have anything to drive....lol.

Never updated the thread. She's a nice ride! Got her inspected. Needs a LF wheel bearing, LF CV boot(I'll just replace the whole axle), rear shocks, and tires. Luckily I have a friend who passed me anyway. He is getting my parts for me cheap. He's going to fix it all for $500 including the parts(except for the tires). He said the tint was too dark but IF I get pulled over for it to say I installed it after it was inspected.
The stereo does not work but I think it's a data wire.

Loving it so far, it gets up and scoots when you want it too, nice exhaust sound, heated seats are awesome!

As a used car dealer I say, you did good.

Except you still haven't told us what you paid for it??? :D

I think the FBI is missing a car out of the motor pool.

You know what is funny? My friends in I invest in bad neighborhoods. We all carry a Baltimore City patch that we throw on the dashboard in real bad war zones.
With my business, I pick up and show potential tenants homes. They are 99% low income and I've had some refuse to get in because they saw the police patch, even in my pickup truck!

I'm sure if they are that skiddish about the PO-lice there is a reason. Not likely the type of reason that would make them a good tenant either.

Well, most are section 8 and come from a long line of not trusting the police. Plus in some areas they do not want a certain element to see them hanging with police.
I do take that into consideration, along with their background checks before placing them!

The Cadillac is going to be way better than using the truck in those areas. A lot less likely to get stolen.

So I got tired of looking at the "tronish" digital dash,

Pulled the dash apart,

And installed an analog cluster, cost me $18 and 2 hours! Much better!

It looks like the speedometer can switch between mph and kph using the same analog gauge. Never seen that before. Usually there is just t scales with no option to switch.

yep, it's wild to hit the button, and watch speedo needle change position.
