Looking for some feedback on a song Im working on

I have a new song I am beginning to work on with some other musicians for an online collaberation...........Its Metal so Im sure some here will not enjoy the style but I would love to hear some of your thoughts and ideas.....I have it posted on my Shoutlife page until I begin to work on it with some others.....so in truth it will change once more folks are added to the project. Please have a listen and tell me what you think.....by the way its up with mistakes and all.

Well truth is Im not sure that anyone would want to steal or use my tunes as they stand.......but Im a bit ingnorant when it comes down to copyright law and such so any info or help would be greatly appreciated

AHHHH I am one of the little people and will always be I do really appreciate your words, they really mean alot. I will be re-recording these songs as I put together live musicians.......These were done in my bedroom on my PC ( The newer song I did drums guitar and bass) so as I write more and ad some people it will really start to be something.........At least thats my plan Truth is Im not looking to be a rock star.......Too much work for no pay off but Im a musician through and through and I am most alive when Im fishing or jamming........Maybe I can a gig on a commercial fishing vessel. Speaking of that, I just got off the phone with a Commercial fishing captain who is a drummer........Hmmmmmmmmmm, how cool would that be

I thought any work of art was automatically protected by copyright laws and licensing was just to allow the use of your work of art? Maybe it's different in the states then Canada but that's how I remember it. Now I'm curious to know.

I like the song a ton. I wished I had the equipment to help out with the vocal part of it, pretty much the only musical talent I have unless I started playing piano again.

Unless you actually register a copyright, it would be extremely difficult to prove theft of a creation even if it's practically identical note for note. Definitely get familiar with the ins & outs (I'm no expert, but as a photographer, I get the jist of it all).

I like it a lot. I'm sending the link to my son who has similar interests.

I like it too...the only thing I dont like is that it's not long enough...But it sounds original and not like anyone or anything else and thats the important part...you dont want to be type cast you know....

other than that I think it is really good...well better than good

Wow guys thanks so much.......Its awesome to read your words. The reason the song is so short is Im looking for others to add their input to it and I want to leave room for other ideas. Its really just a idea as of yet. I programed the drums on my PC. PC recording has come so far. I really am not very good on drums but with enough time I can program drum software. Though the program I use is limited i was able to put this together. I did also play bass on there but I kept it really basic so another bass player could come in a do what he wanted without being tainted by my playing

Wajajaja02 is exactly right. So to save you any future issues, I took the liberty to copyrite the material.
