Looking to purchase this Suzuki DT 150 (pic)

I'm guessing it's mid-80's vintage. Anything I should watch out for with this engine? The lower unit is black, compared to the rest of the engine - is that typical, or was this thing some conglomeration of parts? I plan to look at it tomorrow so I can get model/serial numbers.

Keep in mind that a lot of parts for this motor are discontined

Thanks, I decided to pass. The engine looked like heck and didn't run.
