Whys them kaliforny boys so stingy. They been hogging all the rain. Well thier cup runnith over. Dont look like thier gonna let us poor southern boys have any, yet.<br /> 90* here in cent TX. today, wind gonna blow again tomorrow. Get out your water hose again tomorrow JB. Ive already had fire on 2 sides of me so Im getting safer all the time.

From what I've heard, Northern Calipornia will be releasing water from the resevoirs early this year, to send to Los Angeles. Maybe this year we won't have to "flush twice" to meet LA's water needs's. <br /><br />...Bob in Calif... (SF Peninsula)

Man I cant believe the weather were having. 90* on the 3rd of Jan the fish outa be spawning if they can find a place. This aint no BS if you california boys sent me 4000 18 wheeler loads of water it wouldnt fill up the stock tanks on the 1200 ac. I live on. Its beyond sad here.

Aint no self respecting Texan would be caught dead line dancing. Its a dance we created for the wimmen folks, to keep them amused while we were at the bar having a LONE STARR longneck. Aint that right lady fish

Well, its cloudy anyway. Thats somewhat of an improvement. Weather is teasing us. <br /><br />I watered my yard yesterday, rotating the sprinkler after an hour. There was no run off and the ground was still rock hard.

I spent most of last sunday raking leaves, i ran the sprinkler for a couple of hours afterwards. <br />I need to rake it again, it seems that the wind blows everyone else trash into my yard. What sort of winter is this? yesterday it was somewhere around 82*, if we don't get a decent spell of freezing weather, we will be eaten by mosquitos and over run by crickets come the summer

Actually, I've been out "two-steppin" on ya. <br /><br />We do need some rain, even down here on the island. The dense fog we can do without however.<br /><br />Like my grandaddy used to say "rain makes everything beautiful, why won't it rain on me?"
