Looper Carbs

1986 Evinrude 140hp

Been fighting a fuel delivery problem for a long time and want to purchase a used set of carbs for my looper.

My question is....will a set of looper carbs from a 1993 140 fit on my 1986 140?

Forgot to mention that I'm assuming in my question above that the 1993 throttle bodies will come with the 1993 carbs.

if you order a carb, it will come complete, nothing else. you can order a rebuild kit and comes with everything you need, but if you order a gasket you only get the gasket.

I was actually planning on buy a used set (ie. carbs & throttle body) of carbs from ebay or someplace similar. The set available on ebay at to moment came off a 1993 Evinrude 140 and I'm trying to determine if they will "bolt onto" my 1986 140 without any issues.

I will certainly use new carb kits and give them a thorough cleaning before instalation.....just trying to determine if they will fit before I purchase them.
