this is a mid 80's 85HP Force. the connectors on my plug wires are loose, where they connect to the sparkplug. loose enough that my lower plug wire fell off while on the water yesterday. after i got home i checked them out, #1 and #3 plugs i can see where its been arcing between the plug and the connector. which would explain why i have an occasional skip when under power. the wires are part of the coil so i can't just change the wire. can i cut the connector off and replace it with a new one?
