i have a 1985 boston whaler, with a 90hp johnson v4<br />mechanic says steering is loose on boat, <br /><br />my question is what part needs to be replaced or adjusted and since boat is old can i fix it myself<br /><br /><br />also, after mechanic placed to temp gauges on my console.. and didnt connect the lights i connect the wire myself after reading specs from gauges on awg wires.. and now when ignition is on, but engine off <br />lights come on.. did i screw somethinng up, apon removing the wire i placed on a trim gauge already wired by boston whaler for lights, light went out<br />but came on like they should as button was pulled out for them to work<br /><br />any info on both topics owuld be great<br /><br />thanks
