Losing Yamaha command link tach signal at low RPM. Shows "-" on digital tach. Help.

I have a 2009 Yamaha F115 that has been running great for a thousand hours now but started to act up yesterday with the command link tach digital guage. At low RPMs (below 1800 or so), the digital guage now shows "-" instead of the RPM number.

At higher RPMs above 18 or so, the guage is still working fine with a reading. This has never happened until now. Once and a while, it will work and show the low RPM though.

Has anyone ever come across this before?

Command link on a F115???? Doubt it....should be regular Yamaha digital gauges...please tell again which you have....command lynk very expensive compared to this motor.....doubtful.
