i have a 1973 70hp evinrude. when it is in neutral it revs really high, but when it is in foward it will not reach a speed over about 10 mph. did clean the carbs but i am not sure if i did it completely right. thank you for any response
If you have compression and spark, you've overlooked something within the carburetors..... probably did not get the brass fixed high speed jets thoroughly clean.
