I am trying to find the correct part number for the lower shift cable for a 1987 Mercruiser 4.3L 175 hp Alpha One. There seems to be a lot of different numbers in a search I did.

Ayuh,... Where were ya lookin', 'n what were ya findin',..??

I believe All the alpha 1s take the same cable... 'n the MC-1s gets up-dated to it....

I was looking here on iboats and searhed for lower shift cable.

Just now I searched for Alpha One lower shift cable and got here:

Sure makes a difference when you change the search words.

Get the OEM cable (can't get them from iboats, sorry) the cable is much better, and will last a lot longer for just a small amount more money. It also includes a new shift cable bellows and the install kit to put the drive back on.
