Lower Unit Cost

Just checking on my mechanic, should a refabed lower unit cost 1750 in parts? The total cost for the work is 2100. The motor is a 2000 50hp Johnson. Let me know if you guys think this way high.

check here: http://www.boatmotors.com/motorparts/. i think you could find a used lower for much less.
