I have a 1985 Evenrude 90 and its my first season with this motor, or and Evinrude brand ever. The first few times i ran it clean in a bucket and didn't notice any leakage at all. I started using the flush muffs and a hose and now Im noticing some while grease in the water exiting the prop exhaust outlet. Wondering what could cause a leak like that and is it an easy diagnosis? Wondering if the pressure of the hose is PUSHING the grease out when normal running doesn't.

What looks like white grease are un-burned fuel droplets.

are you sure of that? it was leaking out with the exhaust and also dripping out of a weep hole on the lower unit close to the bottom....its grease..thick and has a strong odor.

Agree, you are looking at unburned two stroke oil mixing with water thru the exhaust and is normal and can get quite thick and smelly.
