Here’s an update. I wasn’t able to get the LU off. Took it to a mechanic who spent a few hours trying to take it off the bolts with no luck.

The mechanic ended up cutting the bolts by cutting through the LU extension. Now I’m getting a replacement LU extension and ended up spending $25 per bolt.
