I got my lower unit seals and assembled.
Today After buying some lower unit lube I wanted to fire it up.

So I hooked it up and got it running. I was excited. Took a bit to get the water out of the exhaust but it finally started spitting.

When we pulled it out of the garbage can I noticed something out the weep/drainage hols of the lower unit. Looked like lots of oil mixed with water. I dont know if that normal. Could be from flooding the engine? I only had it running a few minutes.

But I noticed that from the side of the gearcase there was oil leaking from there. I basically said I must have tore the gasket..
I should have done this before hand but I now did a pressure test in a tank of water. Sure enough. air bubbles on the side of the case.

I tore it apart and I found this:

So my question is.
Does anyone know how I can fill that gouge so it will seal?
Do they make something like JB weld for aluminum?
