When replacing my lower unit gear lube yesterday, I tried to put a little extra in while filling so I'd make up for what was lost when I tried to put the screw back in. Well, I think I applied a tad too much pressure becuase I heard the dreaded sound of oil blowing by a seal. Then the oil began coming out of my water intake. I'm assuming that it blew by the upper oil seal. I've read where these seals are outward facing and I should not be concerned - it will reseat itself. Is this accurate or should I remove the lower unit and reseat/replace the seal?
