ok well im back having water pump issues but cant remove lower unit took off everything that could possible hold it on and it still wont pudge any ideas?

Under the snout is a bolt???
You disconnect the shift linkage?
If not then a rubber mallet on the cavitation plate.
Here is the excerpt to the Clymer's manual. It appears the shift linkage is not disconnected properly, but you say it is. The only other thing is the manual says the lower unit should be in the full down position. If not,seized drive shaft??
You also need to remove the exhaust snout before you can drop the L/U. There are two screws holding it. One is inside the snout itself while the other is the centering screw on the snout's tongue.
