I'm installing a 4-bow 8-foot long top, the width and length are fine but I want it lower.
I have already cut the main bow legs off until the bottom is only a couple of inches beyond where bow #2 attaches to the main bow (second longest bow).
I would like to lower the top a bit more.
Can I drill out the rivet where bow #2 attaches to the main bow and slide it up the main bow so that the main bow can be shortened a bit more?
If I move the attachment point for bow #2 farther up the main bow, will bow #2's length be incorrect (too long or short)?
Thanks for all advice.
