Hi All,
I have a 19' 1989 Bayliner Capri Cuddy with a 1989 125H.P. Force Outboard. I currently do a lot of low speed water sports with this boat mostly wakeboarding. The Current Propellar setup I have is a 3 Blade Power Tech 17P SS Unpolished. At WOT and trimmed I get around 4800rpm my recomended WOT rpm range is 4500-5500rpm. I want my WOT rpm to be dang near the peak of that range so when im at lower speed, which I am almost always, I will be closer to the power band. Im wanting to go to a 15pitch 4 blade SS polished (same diameter) from my current 3 blade SS unpolished prop. Will I see a significant gain in WOT rpm / hole shot performace from this kind of change or should I either stay with a 3 blade and drop pitch only or go with the 4 blade and drop more pitch than already stated. Sorry for the lengthy thought! Hope someone out there can give a me some insight!
P.S. I will only be using this new prop on strict wakeboarding days only.
Thanks!
