I have a 1987 with a 3.0 mercruiser I/O. Wanted to lube the fitting that is just aft of the engine before the drive shaft goes through the transom, it rotates with the engine/drive. With many fittings, you can tell you have enough grease when it starts to pop out. Either this one is a bit dry or its not going to pop out. I've put in 15 pumps and so far nothing. Anyone know if I should keep putting it in til I see it come out, or if it is sealed with no way for it to leak out?
