Ma & RI Boaters Get Together for 10/12

Hey New Englanders,

It's hear, Columbus Day Weekend, It is the end of our boating season. Lets have an end of the year foliage boat tour. Date is Sunday 10/12. Tides will work well for us with High tide @6:30ish and Low tide @ 12:30ish.

I am open to Launch sites but was thinking of Sumerset Ma. Plenty of parking and 10 minutes off 195. I am open for other ideas but with time short we need to nail this down.

Destination: Cove between Prudence Island and Patiance Island. I think Narragansett Bay is a good destination because of the protection it offers to members with smaller boats.

Lets raft up and send summer out with some new friends, food, and a couple of long necks.

Well, looks like boating in southern New England is over. Everyone has all ready gone into hibernation. Maybe next year people may be interested in meeting new boating friends. Have a nice winter

We are thinking about taking a trip upto Race point in provincetown, sorry the Vinyard is a little far for our boat, and we are on the wrong side LOL

Hi Black snow slide, sorry 'bout the N/R - I'm stuck as a land lubber workin' on the boat till i get a hitch on my current car....Lost my truck
I'm making a splashwell so I can go big water . BUT I havent given up on the season yet I'm thinking of testing my work @S.Watuppa lake soon as i get the hitch on. PS if you did the canal you probably sailed by me I was the PO looking guy with a blue hoodie an' NO fish in the cooler

Sorry to hear about you being stuck as land lumber. We had a wonderful weekend. Going to try to post pictures on the site. They never make it easy. But here I go... All my pictures are too big and resizing them to fit will make them a postage stamp in size. I'll try You Tube and send the link.

Just got my trailer hitch on!! Some minor puttering to do on the boat. the big striper run still hasn't passed through the canal. It's mid-October and the season ain't over yet......PRICELESS
