'Dreamweaver"?<br /><br />Sounds like sometin best experienced while you're snortin..... <br /><br />Seriously... I watched a segment on it on G4TV and it looked to me like ya needed some ramp up time to get familiar enough to use it. I'm not that patient.

It's bloated, over featured garbage, in my opinion.<br /><br />I like mos tof macromedias products, but dreamweaver, I dont't.<br /><br />What are your needs for the software?<br /><br />my opinion is slightly biased, since I do web dev and cold fusion all day long. I prefer the more manual way of writing html or coldfusion.<br /><br />If your computer is new and fast, it should be a good tool for you. The auto complete and color keyed text make it really nice in the code edit view. I use ColdFusion studio 5, which is basicly a version of homesite made for coldfusion.<br /><br />Dreamweaver has a lot of good features I guess, but please, learn html and php or coldfusion or whatever, and use the tools to help you code, don't reley on the tools to build the code for you. When a problem comes along that the tool can't fix, you'll know what to do if you understand the code it created.

I've used Dreamweaver for hundreds of hours...I like it alot better than Frontpage or anything else I've tried.

ROFL .. yea KaGee .. I'm contemplating the same thought <br /><br />installing it tonight after I finish cleaning up the machine .. I'm relatively patient with some things.. w/others - I prefer me a hammer! <br />If nothing else it will solidify my beliefs in what I SHOULDN'T do <br /><br />imstillatwork - thanx for the input.. I'm giving it a shot since I've got the software. *note to self * ..
