Labor rates are high and parts can also be pricey...depending on what they are. There were so many Johnsons,Evinrudes and Mercurys produced that old and new parts supplies are usually good but not always cheap. Old motors on old boats is the classic way to go. Hope it runs well so he won't be back in the dog house.
