1987 PCM Chevy 454 with Borg Warner tranny

i've bought a couple of 'manuals' that aren't much help. one from the boat's manufacturer that is little more than warnings and another (can't remember where) that's more of a rebuild shop manual. both are very short on diagnostics. iboats doesn't have much listed for gm engines.

what's a good manual for a marinized chevy big block?

thanks

Check with these guys.... http://www.kencook.com/evinrudejohnsonmanuals/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.main

They had one for my 1988 5.0L GM. Give them year, make and you MUST have the model number off of the engine. They offered me the owners manual, service manual and parts manual. They were pricey but the original article.

Good luck I hope they have yours, if not ask who they recommend. Their website is a train wreck, maybe you can use it but I called to get mine.
