I came across a Kenwood KAC 719 subwoofer amp I had taken out of a vehicle. Can I use it with my factory Jensen Stereo (4x40 watts)?

Speaker upgrade? My pontoon has 4 6" Jensen speakers now. Subwoofer speaker mount in console?

Or should I just go with a Bose Soundlink single speaker and use my devices to Bluetooth music?

I am thinking the answer is $1,000+ outlay to do it right - that is to be able to hear clear sound from idle to 25 mph???

Any thoughts appreciated

Subwoofer amps are frequently mono, not stereo. Put in a sub and drive it with your new amp. Depending on where you boat, and where you are going to mount the amp, I would make sure it is a marine amp. Normally kenwood makes an ok amp. Nothing special...

I've currently got a 21 year old Jensen car amp installed in my boat. It's been there since about 2006 I think. It has never given me any trouble. It's mounted up under the driver's console so it stays perfectly dry and out of the sun.
