Hi Guys,

I want to start the season off with a new battery since the one I have seems tired.

Anyone have any input on which brand is best. I want a Group 24 dual start and deep cycle.

Thanks,

John

The best battery is what you can afford... Maintain it properly and it should last you two to three years...., maybe more...

This month's Trailer Boats Magazine covers batteries - types, sizes, brands, etc. I'm getting ready to buy a new one myself and found this article to be very informative. Their website (http://www.trailerboats.com) doesn't have the article yet but probably will in a few days. Hope this helps.

I agree with Novacane. Interstate is the best deal going with the best availability and warranty. I run 4 boats, 2 pwc's, 2 atv's, 2 Jeeps, and a big Truck and all have interstate. I have 1 battery 6 years old(megatron). Skeeterbuilt is right too. Always take care of your battery and it will take care of you.
