Marine Batteries

I recently bought a cottage with a pontoon boat in the deal. The boat needs a battery. Are all marine batteries the same (12 volt)?

NO, is there 1 battery on it? If so you want a dual purpose marine battery. Everybody has there own opinion one brands of batteries, just like everything else. I have a wal-mart everstart, that is a dual pupose for starting and a die hard deep cycle for my stereo and other electronics.
