John - Yes Marine Tex will fill holes, cracks and darn near anything else. It is great stuff.<br /><br />You may not want to use it however. When Marine Tex cures it is like steel. It will not expand or contract. Most wooden boats will seal themselves after sitting in the water for a while. The wood absorbs enough water to expand enough to seal minor leaks. Many owners of wooden boats will use caulking before launching for the first time of the season. Caulking has some give to it.<br /><br />I hope you get more feedback on this as I'm a plastic boat person.
