Mariner 8HP - model year?

I have Mariner outboard engine, ser. num 9446672.<br />Unfortunately I don't know the model year of my engine.Could you help me ,PLEASE ?!<br />Thank you in advance!

I don't see that number listed, but you may want to take a peek at this site and see if you come up with something. could be there's more to the serial number than you mentioned:<br /><br /> www.marinshopen <br /><br />Click on Modellguide, then Mariner, then 2-8Hk and scroll down and hopefully something will work. Those Mariners can sometimes be tough to place the year. Is this a newer or older motor?

Thanks for the answer Rick!In my opinion that is an old engine around 1990,but this is just a suppposition..I don't really know.Actualy on the top there is a sticker and I read 6362 Stansstad ,but just this one...no tlf number or email...maybe that is a town..who knows?
