Mariner 90 white paste on plugs

Is it possible that the white cream on my plugs could be condensation in the block> since motor sat all winter in garage? Just ran motor in driveway with muffs on. Do I need to take it out on the water and give it a good run?
Motor is a inline 6 not sure of year mid to late 80`s also some one mention to me that my waterjacket needs attention> Where is this located on motor.

Condensation is probably not the issue.

I suppose with the muffs on, and the hose running strong it could have ingested some water.



Heck yea, take it out for a run, do another comparative of all plugs check and let us know what you find.

Of course if it's been sitting all winter with water in a cylinder the rings could stick and cause problems during operation, but what the heck, if the water is only there from you screwing around with doing what might add up to an outboard enema, I'd think I'd want that water out of there. Maybe a good shot of WD40 or something like that in that cyl to loosen any rusting before you leave the house might ease any fears.

So does muffs on lower leg force water into cyl.? Is it better to run in tank and or ocean. I usally hook up muffs after a day of fishing to flush saltwater out. What Im getting at is it better to have the water sucked up leg rather than forced up?

Water ingestion on a stacked 6 is more likely a bad gasket between the exhaust/water jacket separator plates.

Get it done BEFORE it cost you your engine.
