Hi, Just wondering if anyone could tell me where I might find out what the max HP rating is for my 1989 21' Bayliner 2102 Trophy cuddy. It came with a 125 Force outboard, but I've seen one on Youtube with twin 125's on it. Not sure if that was too much for it or not. But would like to know how big a motor I could realistically repower it with.

Scott, I have a 1987 ProLine 21 WAC and it is rated for a max 200hp motor. I'm sure each manufacture does things somewhat different. I would think you would have no problem if transom is in good condition using a 150 or 175 hp. You should be able to get that information though from the manufacture. Sometimes you have to bug them a couple times but it worth a phone call or two, mine faxed me a spec sheet for my boat. My capacity sticker was unreadable so I wanted to know that information. Hope this help some.

My 83 Bayliner 20 ft Sun hatch cuddy had a 200 hp Evinrude. So at least 200.

Sorry,

it was a Wellcraft but 200 should be OK.
