Max speed for MK Terrova 80lb ?

What everyone getting for max speed of trollling motor? What is the norm (1,2,3 mph)?

Ummm -- is this motor on a pontoon, V-hull, canoe, or work boat. It makes a great deal of difference what type of boat it is mounted on, the load in that boat, wind conditions, and of course whether you are on a sheltered lake, a river, or on the ocean.

I just recently installed the MK Fortrex 80# on my Lowe FM165 & it'll run approx 3.7 MPH on highest(100)..

Mounted on a Tahoe Q6 S/F 20.5ft. v-hull aprx 3000lb. calm day getting 2.0 mph (gps) on high (10). Just seems a bit slow...??? I do have smart tabs installed...may make a bit of difference....just curious. : )
