Ok, speedi sleeve installed! Not too bad.. I used a wire wheel to clean up the original seal surface, then emery cloth, and cleaned it all with brake cleaner. I got lucky and found a piece of metal pipe (maybe 2"?) with a coupling on it, and the coupling fit around the speedi sleeve just perfectly. Do you guys think it will be ok to leave the installation flange on the speedi sleeve? Seems it would be out of the way of the seals and not bother anything...
As far as breaking the bearings loose, I managed to get them loose enough to where each bearing spins independently of each other (they were only spinning together as one unit before), so do you guys think that is loose enough?
Seals come in tomorrow, so hopefully she'll be back together soon!
