McCain and Clinton

It appears that our so called saviors, MCCain (John-Rep. AZ) and Clinton (Hillary-Dem- NY) have decided that there is Global Warming.

This has beeen determined during a "cruise" to the arctic. They were told that the glaciers are melting. OMG!

Gee Whiz, we have in our own, arrogant human history, decided (scientifically) that this is cyclical. The glacier views show it, if you care to THINK. But, that view doesn't get votes from ignorant sports moms and the illegal aliens.

As a shrinking US economy is upon us, and getting worse, why are we called out as the great "bad guy".

We can't, in a bad year, equal the pollutants put out by China, by a LOOOONG shot. NOT even close.

But, we've been spoon fed. US = bad, all others= good. Got that?

Good, just checking. Remember: US=bad, all others=good. Repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat.

Keep repeating.

So that's your scientific analysis, DJ?

Global warming can't be real because it is inconvenient, and besides, people that I don't like think it might be so.

I feel better knowing that the scientists are on top of this and gathering evidence and data.

PW2,

You have NO more proof for, than I have against.

Excuse me, no more "credible proof".

I would take "credible" as a 1000 year study. You don't have it and neither do I.

You just can't accept that man is an incredibly arrogant species that actually thinks we can control the climate. Outside of nuclear war, we just simply don't know. And, don't tell me you do.

But, you will.

BTW,

Since we stopped our EVIL AMERICAN mining in the UP, which way is your compass pointing?

USA is the police an problem solver of the world.. soooo ,, lets start here..

people who thinks that all because the air is being polluted by tons & tons of pollutants daily is causing any problems ,,should have their heads examined..

i my self thinks it should be sat-on-the-back-burner for another 1000 years so we can get more data.. or until the republicans are out of office.. or which ever comes first.. :) ..

Rick,

Right on.

I was always taught, as a grade school pupil that we had an ice age. It cannot be denied, and, there would be another one-soon.

What the ^&*(.

Which one is it?

Since we do not teach history (true-not re-written) anymore, who knows.

We WILL repeat the sins of our fathers. We'll think it's all new.

Screw politics for a moment, let's look at this scientifically. Right now, global warming is occurring. Worldwide average temps are up. Does that mean that we are responsible? No way. In fact, I won't even bet money either way because it's impossible to tell. The planet goes through drastic cycles, depending on the wobble and orbit of Earth around the Sun. Ever wonder why y'all can't get a reliable forecast from the local news beyond three days? Or that a Category 3 hurricane projected to hit Cape Hatteras just died 400 miles to the SE and veered to the north? Sorry my friends, I consider it arrogant to think that we started global warming and as such, we cannot stop it. The planet is much more dynamic than even our best and brightest realize.

Perhaps JRJ can offer a scientific theory. I'm sure he will.

John McCain is a lunatic, and Hillary Clinton is a power-hungry shrike.

All this crap about global warming is just an attempt by the One-Worlders to get the USA to hamstring itself in order to facilitate the establishment of world government. Some of you folks may be sincere and sincerely convinced that America is the problem (assuming a problem truly exixts and is being exacerbated by human activity---which is far from a proven scientific fact), but you are being duped and used. Get a grip!

-dd-

Dogsdad, I can rip apart the Global Warming Theory any time that you'd like, just ask! :D I guess I didn't do a proper job earlier. Here's what I said:

"Screw politics for a moment, let's look at this scientifically. Right now, global warming is occurring. Worldwide average temps are up. Any other global warming argument is a moot point as far as I'm concerned. Welcome to Meteorology!

Sure, Ken. The downside is that it'll rain a lot.

I am shivvering in my boots with that horrific consequence.

My point is, even if man is causing global warming, so what, who cares.

The funny thing is that CO2 is considered a greenhouse gas by 'them'. I suggest that 'they' all stop breathing, and we will have eliminated a large amount of CO2. :D

Ken

State of Fear by Michael Crichton... good book. Rips all the global warming theories apart.

Plus it shows how the kook fringe environmentalists twist the numbers to make it look like things are happening that really aren't happening.

And it was quite entertaining at that.

Long story short, DJ put it plainly. We've only got about 100 years of accurately maintained weather information. 100 years out of 100,000,000,000,000 years... lets see, lets pull out my handy dandy calkeelater...

Well thats 1E-12% of the existence of the early. Come on DJ, don't you think that is enough of a time span to accurately predict whether there has been global mourning, er warming.

Sean

Earth has been here for 4.5 billion years. At it's birth it was a flaming ball of molten magma. This made it difficult to drink beer, go fishing or make snowballs.
I'm sleepy but I just wanted to add this important info.
:)
