Take an outboard tank and a rubber gas line. Put the gas line right on your intake of the fuel pump. Then you will know you have fresh fuel to the boat. The gas in your oil is probably from cranking and the carb flooding out and going into the base. If there is much gas at all you need to change the oil

Gas in the oil will thin the oil as well. Is the oil thin? I assume it is a mechanical pump. Sounds like the fuel pump may be shot. When the diaphram goes bad it will allow gas to enter the crankcase. If you remove the pump, check for gas leaking through the backside of the pump. If it is a strong odor of gas you probably need to address this issue first for safety. Not sure what damage can be done to your motor from having gas in the oil, but it sounds dangerous to put fire in it.

Bad fuel pump diaphram. Check the clear tube coming up from the main fuel filter and if there is fuel in it this will confirm. This would cause fuel starvation due to the fuel leaking through the diagphram into the oil pan. The fuel dumping into the oil pan causes excessive oil pressure.

Do not run the engine until you correct the problem. Not really a big deal. Replace the fuel pump, drain the bad oil w/gas, replace the oil filter and add new oil. Anyone, am I missing anything?

As for the low compression on two cylinders, I think this would only reduce your engine's performance and not cause bogging or quiting. But, I'm just a shadetree.
