Well I finally found my solution to my rigged up manifold without having to fab an adapter plate! I found the right manifold from a marine shop. The guy gave me the manifold, riser, and the carb for $75. It's in good condition theres no cracks showing anywhere. I'll be double checking for cracks with acetone next week or so. I won't be using the carb as mine is already rebuilt but I'll keep it around for a spare. Overall I'm pretty happy about it, only about 4 months left till it's warm out!

Once again I found more rigging where the riser mounts to the manifold! I can see 1/16" gaps in some areas. A little exhaust leak!?

That aftermarket manifold looks like a real pile a junk.
Nice score on that Mercury piece. It is indeed a quadrasewer 4 barrel pattern but the 250 has no use for all that carb.

4 months till halfway decent boating weather. :cool:
