Have a merc 35 here, won't turn over unless jumped from the solenoid, can be jumped from where the yellow and red wire connect to the solenoid but when I try jumping the yellow and red wire off the positive wire at the helm I get nothing, I have 12v on the red but as soon as I touch the two together I get no voltage at all at the connection, it's an 80's merc 35
