Merc 470 Pre-Alpha OD, oil in upper u-joint bellows, not supposed to be there is it?

470 Pre-Alpha OD, oil in upper (u-joint) bellows, not supposed to be there is it? I'm guessing it's coming from the upper drive, that's the only place I know of with oil that high. Only when the drive is tipped up?

Pulled the drive off to replace the water impeller.

Yeah. if there's drive oil in there, it leaked in there. You will probably need to reseal the drive.
